WHEEL BALANCE
RIDE SMOOTH & BALANCED
Not to be confused with wheel alignment, wheel balancing is when imperfections, blemishes and damage to a tire or rim throws a wheel “out of balance.” When this happens, one section of the affected tire (or rim) becomes heavier than the other. This results in a wobbly tire, or worse yet, a nasty “hop” as you drive down the road. The effect can commonly be heard and also felt via your steering wheel.
To properly balance your tires, Wheel Masters uses a computerized system to identify where wheel weights should be applied to the rim. Those weights are used to counter-balance any heavy spots. We recommend having your wheels balanced every time your tires are repaired and/or rotated.
